Second Team Day Last updated: Aug.20.2008 04:30As you might have noticed, the Team Accuracy scores from the first day have been removed. There were too many mistakes made during scoring and the event has been cancelled and will be repeated. At least this is my currrent understanding. This has changed the first day's rankings to the Confluence leading the B-Motions and the Rad Revolution. But as you can see from the scores, the Germans managed to take over the lead mainly because the Confluence screwed up their MTA and Trick Catch today. Swiss Skandal is hovering on fourth position, still within reach of even second place. This is quite an exiting situation as each of the first four teams seem to be able to go for first. The team event will at least take another two days. So there is only about halve the events contested.
Winds were very unpredictable today. A lot of top throwers had zeroes in their aussie round score. And yes I am talking about Adam and Frido. Hey, the winds really screwed with us today. MTA saw Betsylew set one up to fly away to the wind gods. Steady climb and the first lost MTA of the event. Some MTAs managed to go onto the nearby street and have now skid marks to prove it.
